This year to see Santa, we went to Bass Pro Shop. Since Aaron and Maralyn were in town for a visit, they came with us. We went on Friday, around 11 a.m. and let me tell you, it was the perfect time. No one was in line, not one person. In fact, when we got there Santa was walking around, talking with the elf helpers trying to keep himself from sheer boredom I am sure. So, Lexi got to walk right up to him. It was great! He, of course, asked her what she wanted for Christmas, and in the shyest, quietest, little voice you can imagine, she said, ponies. He could not hear her, so I translated. Then, she sat on his lap and gave a half smirk. She did not cry, she was not upset in the slightest, she was just super, SUPER shy.
After, Santa gave her a gingerbread silly bands bracelet and her free picture and then we had some time to kill. We walked around, looked at the fish, and then took a stroll through the mall, in which we ended at the kid play area where Lexi played. More was done that day, but I will spare readers the drudgery of reading our day by day play by play. Bottom line is, we had so much fun while Aaron and Maralyn were in town. Read following posts for some more of our fun adventures.
That is one happy, shy little girl.
After seeing Santa, Aaron helped Lex play a wireless video game thing of a mijiger!
Look at that fish! Nasty.
