Yesterday, July 30th, at 4:47 p.m. at Crittenton hospital our second daughter was born into this world. She weighed in at 10 lbs. 0 oz. and was 21.5 inches long! She is healthy and happy and is so far not a crier at all! She has been alive for 24hours now and I have heard her "cry" once. It was more of a wimper than a cry actually, it was cute! So far, she likes to sleep more than anything else. In fact, after 4 hours each time we have to wake her to eat. This is such a big change because Lexi demanded food every 2 hours. I am loving it! She is such a snuggler and I cannot get enough of her pudgy cheeks, double chin and all her other rolls that she wears so well. we love her. Lexi loves her. We are so happy that she is on Earth, especially me, mommy, who was getting a little tired of sharing her body :) Here are some pictures that I just love! I hope you love them too! I will share the birth story later, when I have time to contemplate the chaos of it all. But, until then enjoy these pictures of the newest member of our family! These are the pictures that Chris took, my mom took some of Lexi and the baby that I will have to post later when I download her camera chip.

39 weeks pregnant with Christine
I never like taking pregnancy pictures for lots of reasons. But, since I took some of me when I was pregnant with Lexi at 39 weeks, I realized that I had to do the same for Christine and others who will join our family later. So without further ado, here they are in all my glory. There is also one pic of Chris and Lexi because Lexi didn't want to be left out. She literally said, "I want my picture taken too, mommy!" So there is a cute one of Chris and Lexi too! These were taken exactly a week ago from today. I thought I should post them before Christine comes to Earth. Tomorrow is my due date, so everyone cross your fingers and say a little prayer that she will have the desire to come out and greet her family!

Fourth of July Weekend Celebrations
What a fabulous 3 day weekend we have had. On Saturday, we had a bbq/swim party with two families from our ward. It was fun! Here is a picture of me in all my 9 month pregnant glory holding the dessert I made, patriotic fruit pizza. The star is a little messed up, but it tasted good so no complaints.
Then, Sunday was relaxing, we just went to church and then hung out. When Lexi went to bed, Chris and I played Disney Scene It. It was nice to just hang out with my man, we haven't just played a game in a long time and it was time well spent. Today, Monday, Chris had no school or work, so we met up with friends at Stoney Creek Metro Park. It was a blast! The girls played in the sand, we went swimming in the lake, got lots of sun, had a picnic and just enjoyed the warm day and nice company. I really liked it! Here are some pics ofthe girls playing in the sand/mud puddle.
We spent most of the afternoon there, but when we came home, Lexi took an hour nap, then we were off to Home Depot to pick up the supplies for the rain gutter book shelves Chris is installing in our home and then off to the movies. We took Lexi to see Toy Story 3. This was her first movie EVER in the theatre. It was great, we got popcorn an icee to share and watched a terrific movie. Lexi did great! The movie held her attention the whole time and she was so excited to go. After the movie we got yummy taco bell for dinner, came home and put Lexi to bed. I love days like this, it makes me feel like we were on vacation and it was family time much needed and very well spent. Now the day is over, and tomorrow we return to life, but I alrady feel rejuvenated and refreshed for the rest of this week. What a great 3 day weekend!
