Our Awesome Graduate

I cannot believe the day has finally come that I can blog about how Chris has finished Law school and received his Juris Doctorate degree. We were fortunate enough to go back to MI for the events with Chris's parents. We are all so proud of him and his accomplishments. Love you, babe!
All of the graduates from Auburn Hills Campus

The Ridgeway's threw a party for the Allen's and us which was so nice to see old friends. This is Caroline, who became one of my really good friends towards the end of law school.

Next to Cooley himself. Doesn't he look like Lincoln?

Love him!

The degree

His parents treated us to a fancy dinner at Lelli's steakhouse. The food was amazing!

My parents and brothers gave Chris an IPad for his graduation present. He is one happy man!

I am so proud of him and am glad that school is almost completely behind us.

Family Walk

One Saturday the girls needed to get out of the house, if you know what I mean, and so Chris and I took the girls on a desert walk adventure. It was at this park, that I cannot remember the name of, but it was really fun. The girls loved to look at all the birds that were at the nature reserve part of the park and they loved these cool looking trees. It was the perfect family trip!

Lexi's current favorite outfit ever!

Lexi received this whole outfit for Christmas and ever since she HAS to wear it every day. Heaven forbid it is dirty and I have to wash it. Seriously, melt downs have occurred when I tell her to wear something else. She loves this outfit so much. I just wanted to document it to share with her later.
Also, she is extremely cute in it.

All We Need is Love

My girls are really starting to play so nicely together and they really have this special love for one another. It is so fun to see. This picture was taken request of Alexis. We were playing one day, and randomely, Lexi started hugging Christine and saying how much she loved her. Christine was just grinning from ear to ear. Then, Lexi looks at me and no joke says, "Mom take a picture of us!" I love these girlies so much!

New Year's Eve Party

Chris and I hosted a New Year's Eve party, which was one of our most successful parties, that was ridiculously fun. Almost all of our family attended. We ate some great food, played games, watched Brian Reagan, played the Wii and just enjoyed good conversation. We ended it with some sparkling cider and a toast. The kids managed to stay up all night and were pretty good mannered, yeah! Thanks for coming everybody it was a blast!
cute kids!

Happy New Year!

Christmas Night

After Church, we went to the glidewell for dinner and more presents. Lexi got Belle everything and Christine got Lion King toys. Everything was great!

Christmas Morning

Lexi asked Santa for two specific things: a horse and a chocolate chip cookie. This was the chocolate chip cookie. She LOVED it!

Although Santa couldn't get Lexi a real horse, he did the best he could. She still was in love.

And, Christine couldn't be left out so she got her own pony.

Brian reagan! This was from me and after 5 years I finally got him a present he liked.

Santa Cookies

Lexi loves cooking with me in the kitchen, and I love it too! So, on Christmas Eve night, she helped me make sugar cookies with cream cheese frosting for Santa. When deciding what cut outs to produce, I mentioned a stocking, bell, reindeer, etc. But, Lexi just wouldn't conform. She HAD to make dinosaur cookies. So, Santa got dinosaur cookies and milk. She also couldn't wait until the cookies cooled before trying one, so as a result, she burned her chin, you can see the burn on the bottom left of her chin. Overall, though, it was a fun experience, and Santa I know for a fact loved the cookies.

She decorated these herself.

Christmas Eve with Farrellys

Christmas Eve started off with a festive feast prepared by mi mama!

Then, we opened presents!

Shawn and Shane got Lexi a bag of Cheetoes, a huge bag of her favorite chips, and this was one of her favorite gifts.

Christine loves her electronics

This picture makes me laugh. Look at the ad on the tv! Ha!

Maralyn got a deep fryer, I might have been a little jealous.

One of my favorite gifts, Best Bite cook book! I have made so many recipes already from this and they are delicious.

Rhett got a little bored with opening gifts

I made dessert, Decadent Chocolate Cheesecake with Chocolate Curls. Oh yeah, it was as good as it looks.
