Oobleck Activity

On Day Two, we made oobleck and did a sink or float activity to go along with it. Christine and Lexi had fun doing this one. It was a little messy, dang cornstarch, but it only added to their excitement and joy!

Christine had fun mixing the oobleck with this spoon! By the way, in case you don't know, Oobleck is cornstarch and water mixed together. It creates this goop that is both a solid and liquid. It feels slimy and silky. It is weird stuff.

Have I told you lately that I love this girl? She makes me smile everyday!

Lexi dropped items such as a toothpick, piece of string, foam cube, etc. into the oobleck and then she had to determine whether they would sink or float. 

She loved doing this!
