Grand Blanc Stake Carnival

At our stake center tonight, we attended our stake's carnvial. It was fun! We ate hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy and treats from each carnival game. Lexi had fun doing the bean bag toss, color matching game, cupcake walk, etc. She got a balloon from the missionaries and she got her face painted! Funny story: So, I was giving Chris her balloon so that he could hold onto it, while she went in the bouncy playhouse, and as I was handing it to him, it slid out of his fingers, because he was holding Christine and couldn't get a good grip, so the balloon flew into the air. Lexi watched it as it quickly floated into the atmosphere. Her face was so sad and she started to cry. But then, when she couldn't see it anymore, she looked at us and said, "Mommy, it disappeared! Where did it go?" At this point, her face turned from sadness to fascination. Needless to say, we had to get her another balloon because the sad face returned after we answered her question. Anyways, it was funny. So all in all, I am really glad we went, it was a good time.
