Stony Creek Park

There are lots of Metroparks here in Michigan. Among them is Stony Creek. Stony Creek is about a 20 minute drive from our house, and since it is close this is the one we decided to go to while Chris is on break from school. Our good friends Calle and Zac Wagner and their cutie girls came with us. We packed a picnic, swung the kids on the swings, tried to fly our kite we have had for three years and never used, and then, we went to check out the swimming area. After "swimming" (we forgot to bring suits), we found a spot on the grass and played with beach balls, bubbles, and ate lots of brownies. Alexis LOVES brownies, just like her dad, and we had to pry the box from her fingers so that she wouldn't o.d. on them. Anyways, we had so much fun. We cannot wait to try some of the other metroparks!
