Lexi's 4th Horse Birthday Party!

Lexi is 4 years old! For her birthday she wanted a horse theme. Although she wanted to invite everyone from preschool, everyone from primary, and her entire family (on both sides), we had to narrow it down to just family. Which, turned out to be the best and biggest turn out Lexi has ever had at a birthday party! The whole day Lexi was in heaven! It really was a great birthday!

Here is the cowgirl! I ordered this custom made horse birthday shirt from Etsy and she LOVED it! And, she got these sassy, cowgirl boots as an early present from Chris and I. It is indescribable how much we love this four year old!
The party started off at Dewitt Stables in which Lexi and her cousins got to have pony rides. Lexi wouldn't wear the cowgirl hat, so we let Elvis, the pony, sport it! Lexi fell head over heels in love with Elvis. In fact, after the hour of rides, it was hard for her to say goodbye. Chris was so great, and led the kids around most of the time.

I am amazed at how much she loves horses! This part of the party was definitely the biggest hit for her!

Cousin Brady wasn't so sure about it at first, but then he rode like a real cowboy!

What a cutie! Brady, I mean :)

Since we could only afford one pony, the kids had to take turns. I was nervous Lexi wouldn't be so patient, but she proved me wrong. Here she is waiting so patiently for her next turn.

Although the  rides were only for the young kids, Grandmas and Grandpas and aunts and uncles still came out to watch. Thanks guys! Lexi enjoyed showing off for y'all!

Aunt Hallie and Adee.

Grandma Glidewell and Christine watching the rides!

Aunt Autumn, whom we are so happy is expecting their next baby, feels well enough to take her daughter adee around. Note: Autumn is Lexi's aunt who also LOVES horses, in fact, she used to own some. So, she was great to have at the party!

Kingsten never really fell in love with Elvis :( But, he at least tried it out!

Christine wasn't sure about it at first either, but then, she liked it!

Look at that cute toddler!

Lexi loves her cousins!

Uncle Shawn with Christine. Seriously, my girls LOVE LOVE LOVE this good looking guy!

After leaving the Stables, we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Farrelly's home for the remainder of the party. Thanks for hosting guys! We first did a horse pinata, then we ate dinner, followed by presents and cake/ice cream.
She missed!

After a while, we let the older kids, Ian and Hallie take a shot at it! It is actually harder to break a pinanta then you might think. They couldn't do it!

I love this pic of Aunt Maralyn and Cousin Rhett. Although Rhett didn't try the pinanta this year, he was a great support!

It may have fallen off the string a couple of times. Oops!

Finally, Grandpa stepped in and helped the birthday girl crack it open.
Good Stuff!
After the pinanta, we had a scrumptious cowgirl dinner including but not limited too pulled pork sandwiches, chips, strawberry lemonade, and potato salad. It was delicious! Then it was present time! Again, thank you to all who gave her such wonderful gifts, she is truly blessed! And, Thank you grandma and grandpa king for the awesome card and money sent through mail. She loved it!

She got games such as candy land, and hi ho cherry o!

princess stickers, books, and a princess microphone

she got some awesome clothes and the cutest swim suit ever!

And lots more fun stuff.

Thanks again for all the great gifts! She loves them all!
Last of all, we ended with cake and ice cream and singing. We took a video for most of this part but I did get some good snapshots that I will share on here!
First, this is just another great pic of Rhett! We all love him so much!

She had to have a horse birthday cake. So, with all of my limited skills, this would be it. Although it could have been better, but all I wanted was for people to know what it was suppose to be, which they did, and I wanted lexi to love it, which she did! So, it was okay with me.

She named it Elvis, of course.
There is the proud girl with her four candles. Let me just say, she blew them all out in one breath, and she did NOT even spit. I was so proud!

Overall, the party was great, I really had fun planning it, and she had a wonderful day, so it was a huge success to me!

Happy Birthday, Babe! We all sure love you and are glad you came to our family four years ago!
