Icicles Invade

Living in cold weather, we have come to learn some things about mother nature. Icicles, alothough pretty, are a bad sign. It shows that you have bad insulation. We have icicles all over our house. But the point is, we had an icicle on our sunroom's roof that is taller than Chris. We decided to break it off and show you guys what I mean. The thing is huge!

If You're Happy and You Know it, Clap your Hands!

Alexis clapped for the first time yesterday. It is sooooo cute! She did it all day today. Everytime she claps I sing the song, "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands," so that she can understand what she is doing. Anyways, I love my baby girl, but she is growing up so fast! What Happens in Vegas...STAYS in Vegas!

After Christmas, we went with the Glidewells on a little trip. We first went up to Manti, Ut where we visited with Chris's Grandparents, the Walsers. Then, we went with our family to Park City. We stayed in a very nice suite and went tubing. Tubing was a blast. Because I am a chicken, I was nervous, but after a couple of times, I really enjoyed it. From there, we went back to Manti. Chris, Alexis, and I then got to go up to Mt. Pleasant to visit my Grandma Priest. We had a wonderful time talking and playing games with her. On our way home, we went to Las Vegas where Chris's Aunt Caty and Uncle Adam live along with their three children. It was fun spending time with them. Then, one day, My father in law, Chris, my husband, Chris, Hallie, Ian, and I went to the strip where we spent a wonderful day. Grandma Glidewell stayed behind and watched Alexis for us. It was fun to spend time with just Chris for a change. we went to the M and M Store, Coke Store, and then hit the hotels and casinos. After winning a million dollars at the Bellagio, we headed home. What a fun day. Remember, what happens in vegas, stays in vegas. :)

Christmas Afternoon with Farrellys, Kings, and Mcguires

After spending Christmas morning with the Glidewells, we headed to my parents house, the farrellys. My dad's family all came from California to spend Christmas with us so it was a blast. We got to talk to Shane on the phone from Chile. He is doing well and I cannot believe that him and Shawn come home in October. Anyways, we talked to Shawn on Christmas Eve from Honduras and he is also doing well. So, we opened presents and ate great food thanks to mama farrelly. I love my family and again, am so grateful we could be with them for the holidays.

Christmas Morning with the Glidewells

Christmas morning was great this year! On Christmas eve, the whole family got some festive pajamas. Therefore, on Christmas morning, we were all decked out in our pajamas and we woke up early to see what Santa and others had brought us. This was Alexis's first Christmas, so it was even more special for us. Santa brought Alexis bath toys and books, while Grandma and Grandpa Glidewell showered her with tons of presents, all ranging from clothes to books, to musical toys. It was a good Christmas morning, and we were very blessed to be down in Mesa to celebrate with family.
