Halloween Fun at Schnepf Farms

Last year we had so much fun at Schnepf Farms, that we decided to go again! This time, we went with the whole Glidewell gang. We also went at night instead of during the day. And, once again, it was really fun! Perks of going at night are shorter lines for rides, fireworks at the end, and cooler weather! I love Fall and going to the farm has become a fun family tradition.

The Bee ride was one of the only rides that a pregnant lady could go on :) Also, Christine was freaking out before the ride started, she kept wanting to jump out, but once it got going, she LOVED it.

This plane ride was for kids only. So, this was the first ride Lexi got to do on her own. It was very similar to the bee ride but she and Brady felt so grown up getting to do it all by themselves.

All of the grandkids on Glidewell side. It was at the end of the night, when the kids were tired, so although they do not look that enthused, they really had a fun time, I promise!

Dem Bones Craft

During Fall break, meaning, Lexi had the whole week off of school, I decided to do a Halloween craft with the kids. We made these cute skeletons out of q-tips. Lexi LOVED doing this. Christine, not so much! But both girls loved the finished project. After the project we talked about bones and our skeleton and then we went to my mamma's house to watch a dem bones cartoon on you tube. The girls loved it! I also found a foam bone puzzle for a dollar at wal-mart so we did that too. It turned out to be not only fun but quite educational and that made me feel good since Lexi was not going to school. Anyways, it really got us all in the Halloween spirit and so now I am inspired to do a couple more Halloween crafts with the kids before the big day.

Cousin Adee's 3rd Birthday Party

At the beginning of October, we went to cousin Adee's 3rd birthday party! It was very pink and full of princesses, Adee's favorites. We all had a good time. Because my sister-in-law Autumn, Adee's mommy, gave birth just one week earlier, I volunteered to make the birthday cake. I think it turned out really cute and I know Adee liked it, so it was a success. It also tasted pretty darn good. Anyways, it was fun having all the Glidewell cousins together for such a special day.

All the cousins, with the exception of Noah who was one week old at this time. Happy Birthday, Adee!

Space Parent Program at Lexi's Preschool

Lexi's preschool had a parent program that my mother-in-law and I went to. The kids sang songs about their space unit, answered questions and showed us all their cool space projects along with the whole preschool classroom. It was really cute and I am glad that Lexi is not only having fun but learning a lot. Lexi also introduced me to her friend, Rubi and her mom. It was fun!

Girl's Craft Day!

Last month, I needed some time with just my friends. I decided to host a craft day with a light lunch afterwards. It was just what I needed: good conversation with some of my best friends, good food, and a cute craft so that I felt productive. I forgot to take pictures because we were just having too much fun, but at the end, I took this picture of my friend, Hilary, with the completed project. Thanks girls for coming and we should do it again real soon!

It is a monogrammed berry wreath. You add ribbon to the top and hang it up! So cute!
